Medtanken is a primary care provider in the Västra Götaland Region of Sweden with a strong local presence. Medtanken has 19 primary care clinics, 13 rehab clinics and one specialist care hospital with more than 110,000 listed patients, c. 600 full time employees and an annual turnover of SEK 700 million. In addition to primary care, Medtanken offers rehab clinics, specialist care within dermatology and cardiology, travel vaccination clinics, as well as occupational healthcare services and extended psychology services.
Medtanken is owned by Procuritas, a mid-market Scandinavian private equity house with 318 MEUR in committed capital. Procuritas has to date completed over 40 buyouts with a combined consideration of more than SEK 12 billion.
TARGET
Citysjukhuset is a specialist and primary care provider in the Västra Götaland Region in Sweden, located in central Gothenburg. The company offers extensive specialist care in several fields such as surgery, urology, orthopaedic surgery, cardiology, rheumatology, neurology, gastroenterology, dermatology and ear-nose-throat as well as primary care and a vaccination clinic. The company has an annual turnover of c. SEK 70 million.
